The purpose of the British Council EnglishTest is to evaluate your English language proficiency and provide you with the information to prepare for an English interview. The questions in the test are similar to the ones you might find in an actual interview. You need to show that you not only know the English language but also have the ability to use it in a different context, such as in an interview.
In order to be able to answer the questions correctly, you need to understand how the English language works and be able to express yourself in it.
